Next Steps in Digital Craft

Who it’s for: This course is for artists and craftspeople who already have some experience with CAD and/or digital manufacturing who wish to deepen their general knowledge or develop a workflow that is specific to their unique craft practice/business.

Course Description: For the first time I am offering an intermediate level course. The curriculum will be tailored to the group’s interests, but it will likely include lessons in surface modeling, Fusion360’s powerful “form” tool, creating flat patterns from 3D models, utilizing multiple CAD platforms, using various digital manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting and more. This course will include 4 group sessions, and two one-on-one sessions per student as well as lots of recorded tutorials and resources. This format will give students the opportunity to learn skills that are catered to their specialized interests and even to develop their own digital manufacturing workflow.

How to sign up: This course has a limited capacity of 8 students! Registration will open by January 2026. By preregistering, you will be given the first opportunity to sign up and pay for the course. Your feedback through the preregistration form will also help me finalize the curriculum.
